Happy Tuesday, ladies! I'm writing you from my hotel in Greensboro, GA. I decided to take a little staycation this week. I'll be sharing all of the details next week, so stay tuned! But we've still got a great OOTD today: a spring FARM Rio dress that I have a feeling you're gonna love.
I've said it all Spring, but this year is all about bright & bold colors. And today's dress embodies that mantra perfectly. I'm loving this dress because of its flexibility. I can see styling it up or styling it down in a sort of boho-chic sorta way. However you style it, I know it's gonna turn heads and bring smiles to people's faces.
Today's featured item is a dress from FARM Rio
The dress is modeled, and I pulled together 2 alternates

Today's dress (Farm Rio) comes in multiple colors. I went with pink, but I'm loving the yellow as well. As with any bold color, pick one that works best for you---one that you're going to feel comfortable in and you think best complements your skin tone.
With such a stunning dress, accessories are going to do all the work for you in shaping the tenor of the outfit.

My accessories strike an ever-so-slightly more formal pitch today. I could imagine wearing this outfit to, say, a graduation or even an outdoor wedding.
But if you take a look at my alternative stylings below, the whole tenor of the dress can easily be changed by swapping out the shoes and bag.

Who needs a belt when you have this unbelievably cute o-ring detail. How fun is that?
One of my favorite aspects of dresses are the small details that set them apart from the pack. And today's dress does not disappoint.

Happy Monday, ladies! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. The weather has decided to warm up here a bit, and we had an absolutely gorgeous day yesterday. All this means is that I couldn't not wear bright and bold colors this Spring! (Double negative, anyone?)
Before we kick things off, just wanted to mention some of the many fun changes happening here at SaaCA. In addition to Kelly's first featured post, we rolled out our post redesign yesterday. We think the daily post will be a lot easier to navigate, read, and shop from here on out.
And if you want to stay up-to-date on what's going on over at SaaCA, you can subscribe to our email list by clicking here. We actually have three mailers you can subscribe to: a daily email, a weekly newsletter, sent Sunday night, and a recently revived sales newsletter, which will probably be sent 2x a week.
Enough of the updates, let's kick off today's OOTD.
Today's featured item is a tie detail shift dress from Talbots, with metallic accessories to accentuate
I've modeled today's dress one way, and I also pulled 2 alternate boards together

Today's featured item is a knit shift dress from Talbots. We initially ran this dress in our daily email, and it was an absolute hit. (As of the other day, it was a top 5 seller for April.)
So, I had to feature it.
This dress is absolutely darling and has the cutest tie detail. It comes in two colors, including black, but since this is the year of bold colors, I went with orange.
I've worn it simply today and let my accessories do all of the heavy liftings. But if you're looking for alternative ways to wear it, scroll down, as I've put together two.
Knit dress (Talbots) | Gold sandals (old, Aqua, similar here, here, and here) | Handbag (old, Tory Burch similar here and here) | Necklace (old, similar here and here) | Earrings (Banana Republic) | Bangle (Julie Vos)
My accessories today are metallic---primarily gold. Metallic accessories work well with bright colors, especially when you have a simple outfit like today's.
My gold strappy sandals are from Aqua but old. I've rounded up similars here, here, and here).
My necklace is old too, but make sure to check out these Devon Leigh similars.

I'm a sucker for little outfit details like today's dress tie. Always nice to mix things up a bit and put a fresh spin on an old favorite.

Happy Sunday, ladies! As you've probably noticed, we've been playing with a lot of stylistic changes to our posts lately. After a lot of feedback from you, I think we're honing in on something fresh and modern. My hope is that you're gonna get something more pleasing visually and easier to shop. For our inaugural post, I'm modeling six dresses for all occasions, all styled 3 ways.
We've spent a lot of time on dresses this year. A few weeks ago, we ran our 2022 Guide to Spring Dresses. And today I've rounded up my personal favorites this season.
The reason is simple: so many of us are back, out and about this year. Some of us are heading off to work; others are meeting up with friends for drinks; and most of us are celebrating some occasion or other this Spring.
So without further ado, here are 6 of my favorite dresses, styled in multiple ways to give you an idea of their versatility.

Striped Dress (Veronica Beard) | Sandals (Marc Fisher) | Handbag (old, Ralph Lauren similar here and here)
Maxi Dress (Ralph Lauren) | Sandals (Marc Fisher) | Handbag (old, Talbots, similar here and here)
I'm really loving Veronica Beard's dress selection this year, but this shirtdress is my favorite. This dress pairs with a variety of different shoes, including sandals or mules.
Ralph Lauren is my all-time favorite designer, and this Jacquard dress is simply beautiful. Layer it with a sweater and dress it down with a pair of white sneakers. Perfect for Spring.
Simply elegant. This dress is perfect for evenings or special occasions. I've paired it with gold accessories to bring out the dress' highlights. But you can easily go all black and let the dress speak for itself.
Perfect for graduations, weddings, and the like, this floral dress most embodies Spring out of all the ones I chose. Try pairing it with a wrap for a classic elegant look.
I had the most fun styling this dress and its alternates. I can't wait to wear it with a pair of riding boots.
The casual but versatile of all the dresses. Layer it with a denim jacket or a blazer for a preppy look. Nothing but fun, this one.

Happy Monday, ladies! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are rested as we head into a new week. I spent the whole weekend working in the yard—boy am I pooped! Using muscles I forgot existed. But I love this time of year, I really do. It’s such a joy to open the porch back up and sit outside during the evenings. Today, I’ve got the loveliest 2022 tiered midi dress from Neiman’s. And in a lot of ways, it builds on yesterday’s post, 4 Perfect Spring Color Combinations. You’ll see why.
I’m loving olive green this year. Today’s outfit is a matchy-matchy pairing between an olive green linen shirt and a tiered green midi skirt —both available at Neiman Marcus. I really been treating olive green as a neutral this Spring, as it takes to a color pop so well. (Hello, pink.).
Olive Green Linen Shirt (Neiman Marcus) | Tiered Green Midi Skirt (Neiman Marcus) | White tee | Suede sandals (Stuart Weitzman, old, similar here and here) | Tan handbag (Brahmin) | Station necklace (Tory Burch, old, similar here and here) Bracelets from Nest
I went with a pair of suede sandals from Stuart Weitzman (old, similar here and here). But I could easily see swapping out the sandals for a pair of slides, mules, or loafers.
The station necklace is from Tory Burch (old, similar here and here). Loving her this year as my email subscribers well know. And how cute is this tan handbag? Tan and olive green go together like peas and carrots. (Old carrots, I guess? Maybe a bad analogy.)
For those of you that read 4 Perfect Color Combinations for Spring, know that drab/olive green & pink was my first pairing. I decided to rework 2 of those outfits with today’s midi skirt to show you its flexibility. Here’s what I came up with.
Twill jacket | V-Neck Tee | Tiered Green Midi Skirt (Neiman Marcus) | Suede platform espadrilles | Rattan crossbody bag
Casual linen blazer | Tiered Green Midi Skirt (Neiman Marcus) | Linen band collar popover | Suede espadrilles | Rattan crossbody bag
I had an opportunity to sit down and talk with Jenny Sue Makeup. If you don’t know her, you should! One of my favorite people. Here’s our conversation.
In case you missed it, yesterday, we announced Kelly Djalali coming on as a regular contributor. Here’s what that means.
On Tuesdays, Kelly will be posting an entry to our Daily Looks feed. She’ll post an OOTD and you can shop those outfits easily through the shop widget below the photo. Being of a smaller stature, at 5 feet tall and 105 pounds, Kelly will create fresh looks with a focus on classic style for petites.
On Thursdays, Kelly will be contributing a full-length fashion-related post. Whether she’s modeling outfits or giving you tips on how to build her capsule wardrobes, you can expect the same great content you’ve come to expect from SAACA.
Kelly will be reviving her Kelly’s Kitchen column on Saturdays. Each week, you can expect a delicious, easy-to-follow recipe.
Happy Tuesday, ladies. Did anyone else catch the Oscars? I have to admit, I didn’t watch them live. But they sure made the news—probably not what they were hoping for. I am on the hunt for new-ish movies. So if anyone has recommendations, leave them in the comments below! We’ve got a classic OOTD for you today: an Eileen Fisher collar dress styled 2 ways—sort of. Also, just want to throw this on your radar:
SAACA has a big announcement Thursday.
Don’t worry. We’ll announce it over email and across my social channels. But it is our biggest in a long time. So stay tuned.
We’ve been all about dresses on the blog lately. Sunday, we brought you a Spring Guide to Dresses. Yesterday, I rounded up a great selection of dresses from Kohl’s. Today, I’ve got a Mandarin Collar Dress from Eileen Fisher.
For my first look, I styled this simple linen shift dress with a pair of quilted sneakers, also from Eileen Fisher. Couldn’t be simpler, really. I’ve really been feeling sneakers this Spring, and these are super comfy. Paired with white, matching sunglasses, you’re ready for a full day out. No muss. No fuss.
Mandarin Collar Dress (Eileen Fisher) | Quilted Sneakers (Eileen Fisher, three colors) | Sandals (Tuckernuck) | Straw Handbag (Mark & Graham) | Station Necklace (old, similar here and here, from Tory Burch) | Earrings | Watchband | Bangle | Sunglasses
The second “look” is as simple as swapping out the sneakers for a pair of sandals from Tuckernuck. I love what little changes to an outfit can do, especially with shoes and accessories. Headed to the beach this year? This is the perfect look.
And I have to say, I always have a special place in my heart for Mark & Graham. This simple straw handbag does not disappoint. Classic look and feel. It’ll work well with a lot of the Spring outfits we’ve put together this year.

Both my sunglasses and sandals have made our real vs. deal list this year. In case you missed it, I’ll repost below.
Prada sunglasses are iconic but pricey. No doubt. Want the look but don’t want to break the bank? I’ve rounded up four more budget-friendly dupes/copies of these sunglasses below.
We’re all familiar with the iconic Hermès Sandals. Totally gorgeous. Totally classic. Very similar to what I featured above. And are they not perfect for Spring? Today, I’ve rounded up four more budget-friendly dupes/copies of those sandals below.

Happy Monday, ladies! The weather finally turned around here in Athens. After a week of rain, we had an absolutely beautiful weekend. To be fair, I missed the rain, because I was in Mexico last week. So, I can’t complain too much. But even if it is dreary where you are, today’s outfit will bring a little light and bright to your day. We’re stepping into Spring today with some beautiful colors with an Ann Taylor sheath dress and tweed outfit.
Also, we’ve got a new entry into our real vs. steal series. Today: Prada sunglasses.
Today’s outfit couldn’t be simpler: I’ve paired a yellow Ann Taylor tweed jacket with a matching sheath dress. I love simple elegance and class, and
Confession: as of a few days ago, both jacket and dress were in stock. As of today, they’re sold out. But when life doesn’t give you a lemon dress… you pivot. I’ve pulled together some yummy Ann Taylor jackets that look fantastic with similar dresses. You can find the jackets here, here, and here. And similar sheath dresses here, here, and here.
If you absolutely love this jacket and dress, make sure to bookmark the page. Ann Taylor has been restocking periodically.

Tweed jackets are in this year. Honestly, they’re in every year—a true timeless classic. Pair them with a dress, slacks, or jeans. You really can’t go wrong. I went matchy-matchy today. But a colorful jacket like this one would pop with a neutral base: just imagine a black or white sheath dress. Elegant.

2022 is the year of bright and bold colors, and this yellow is topping a lot of lists. If you’re looking for alternative ways to wear it, make sure to head over to our 5 colors in for Spring post. I pulled tons of color combinations together to help you plan your wardrobe.

With the country opening up, many of us—hopefully—will be able to celebrate special occasions in person. And Spring and Summer are full of them: from Easter to Mother’s Day to weddings to graduations. There are so many opportunities to get together and share a little love and joy—and much needed too! As the weather warms up (for some of us), we’ve been thinking about Spring a lot over here on the blog. We’re continuing on with our theme this week: budget-friendly Spring shopping.
Today’s spring dress is from Scoop (available at Walmart), and it’s available in 3 colors. (I’m also loving the pink.) I’ve styled it with a pair of cap-toe pumps (similar here and here). The cap-toe pump has been a favorite of mine this year. So much so that I featured it on one of my real vs. deal segments reprinted below:
The cap-toe slingback might not need any introduction due to its iconic status. Coco Chanel introduced this beauty in 1957 and nicknamed it “the height of elegance.” This shoe ticks all the classic boxes and is a cult favorite due to its neutral color scheme – black toe and nude body. The heel is not too high nor too low and looks fantastic with skirts, dresses, pants, or blue jeans.
Walmart carries the Easy Spirit cap-toe pump that’s easy on your budget. Hands down the best dupe are the Exclusive Baton Heel available at TuckerNuck that looks almost identical to the Chanel slingback. Karen White pointy toe slingback is elegant and sophisticated thanks to a v-shape opening. And the Vaneli Aliz slingback is a perennial favorite available at Nordstrom.

I’m loving this dress because it would work for just about any special occasion I can think of this year. My accessories are subtle but compliment the outfit nicely. I’m featuring a DeMellier handbag (similars here and here) and a silver bracelet and hoops. Understated but elegant.

Who doesn’t love a hat, especially in Spring? This straw fedora is also from Scoop and is going to get a lot of use this Spring.

We’re in the Spring transition phase over here at SAACA. Yesterday we featured a budget-friendly skirt from Scoop that you can dress up or down by swapping out just your accessories. Make sure to check it out.
We just posted a new DAILY LOOK, so make sure to check it out. Daily Looks is a really simple feature: a dedicated photo feed of my daily outfits. And you can shop those outfits easily through the shop the widget below the picture.
