I have to say both shoes are a miss. The dark ankle strap and clunky heal cut you leg and take away from the floaty feminine dress. The white sandal reads tailored and looks off next to ruffles. Put those gorgeous legs in a beautiful feminine pump or a more delicate strappy sandal please!

I like that dress on you and, gosh, the price is right! Wrong colors for me but still very pretty.

It’s beautiful dress for the church, but not dressy enough for the reception. In Chicago many ppl change between church/reception.

The brand mentions that their clothes are for the younger woman and her lifestyle. That being said, I think it looks as good on you as it does on the model. It’s not a style I’d wear because it’s too voluminous for my frame (esp. the sleeves), but it’s pretty for a garden party or lunch or dinner out — for those who do this, of course.

Help. I need a summer wedding dress for a formal wedding. I probably won’t wear full length, but Ibcan wear midi or tea length well because I’m tall. Want top of arms covered, and something to camouflage my stomach, where I carry oat my weight. Thighs and butt are much smaller! Help please. The wedding will be in Utah

It appears that longer dresses appear to be trending this spring. Do you have any hints or tips for wearing longer dresses. I’m rather short and longer isn’t the best look for me.

Wouldn’t it be fun for if all of the women who are already married and are invited to attend a wedding had to wear their wedding gowns?

I really have mixed feelings about this dress. I love the ruffled asymmetric hem, the flowing, soft fabric and the nice deeper neckline. What I’m not sure I’m crazy about is the smocking at the waist. It just seems to add fullness, where most don’t want it. It is fun to start seeing spring and summer wear. I’m REALLY tired of my winter clothing. I know we are just in mid February, but winter seems to be dragging on this year.

    Hi Beth,
Thank you for a great post! I always struggle with what to wear to a wedding and this dress is lovely. I just ordered it. I also appreciate the various shoe options that you have shown with the dress. After many foot surgeries, high heels are out for me but you have offered many lovely mid heel options. Thank you!
