today we continue my home tour with a view of my kitchen and laundry room. as you can imagine, i spend a fair amount of time in both rooms. the kitchen is a place where the family often gathers to help fix a meal or sit for breakfast. the kitchen is the heart of the home, so it makes perfect sense that it’s a place of comfort. there are so many questions about my skincare routine. makeup also ranks high on your list of want-to-knows. and so does boosting your immune system. so, i thought i’d roll up all three topics into one mega-post. i’m definitely not a beauty expert by any stretch of the imagination. but i’ve tried my best through the years to stay current with the latest and greatest beauty products. because skincare products do make a difference with how our skin looks. and there’s good news. even if you’ve neglected your skin for years, it’s never too late to put a beauty regimen in place. these are a few of the ingredients i look for when it comes to skincare products: vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, peptides, and retin A. it’s not an inclusive list, but it’s a start. i also love products that use natural ingredients too. just because we’re stuck at home doesn’t mean we can’t throw a dinner party for two or more. today, we’re talking how to host a virtual dinner party. it might take a bit of planning on your part to send the invites and get everyone on board as far as date and time. but just like at-home dinner parties, it’s worth the time and effort to galvanize your friends and family. these days, it’s so easy to feel alone and isolated, so we need to make every effort to stay connected. and i’ve always loved opening my home and breaking bread. today, i get to try a new way to do just that. remember, guests will make or break the party, so four to six is a good number to start with. it’s small enough to keep the banter rolling but not large enough to have everyone shouting talking over one another.
