Cozy Cashmere Sweaters to Make the Winter Warm

  1. Love the sweater, but was wondering how boxy it is? Because I am short 5’3″, I cannot wear a real boxy style. Overpowers me.

It’s boxy but if you slip a shirt underneath as I did in today’s post that will help with proportions and you won’t feel as if the sweater is overpowering.

Beth, this look is one that I adore, too! I’m always so inspired by the outfits you create. And, this is especially helpful currently because I can shop my closet instead of making new purchases. Very important as my husband and I continue funding our retirement account over the next 17 months. Looking forward to more inspiration in 2022.

The younger generation seem to like the Mid-drift length. Is this what the sweater is? Does that mean that the longer look sweaters are headed out? Also, what is your opinion on wearing gold vs silver. Both together? all gold or all silver? Thank you! I so enjoy your site! I love the pin/navy scarf you had on this week. I have spent 2 years looking for that. Any suggestions for a place to obtain one in that color?

You don’t live in Utah that’s for sure….with the cold, slush, and mud and slogging thru deep snow!!

Love what you did with the shirt underneath, Beth. Yes, it does balance proportion, but also, that little rim of white at the neckline, really brightens your face. I do that with scarves, sometimes, if I like a colour, but it doesn’t return the compliment -lol. This, however is a modern take and probably not as warm as a scarf can be. Brava👏

Great outfit Beth. I’ve worn iterations of this on repeat. I cannot wear cashmere. I have tried a number of different brands but no joy😕 Luckily there are plenty of pretty cotton blend sweaters. Really enjoy your posts!!
