neutrals for fall. it’s always a good day when i partner with one of my all-time favorite brands, Ann Taylor. and Ann is helping me ease into fall with, you guessed it, neutrals. because neutrals work any time of year but especially when the seasons change.
since i’m a sucker for a tweed blazer this fringe tweed shawl collar jacket was the perfect item to kick off this ootd. the versatile color scheme – tan, black, and ivory – go with anything and everything. black skinny jeans or black pants would look terrific with this jazzy number. but since it’s all about neutrals for fall, i chose high rise straight leg jeans with sculpting pockets that smooth and flatter your shape. a neutral blouse or shell looks fantastic with the tweed shawl collar jacket. but a sleeveless mock turtleneck has me made in the shade while the south transitions from hot and hotter to cool.
good news! the friends of Ann event kicks off today with 40% off your purchase exclusions apply. i’m loving all things, Ann Taylor, this fall besides neutrals for fall. what about Modern Plaid? Blue and Honey? Wine and Navy? Modern Match? or my favorite Fall Florals.
style tip: cape your jacket for a nod to casual chic. plus, if it’s still hot in your neck of the woods, this version of wearing a jacket helps you keep your cool.
