when March rolls into town, it’s a given that bitterly cold winds and snow flurries might still be on the horizon. even though spring is on the way March can be a bumpy ride. at least in the Northern Hemisphere. no wonder blue skies, sandy beaches, and sunshine just might be dancing through your head this time of year. if you’re lucky enough to head out of town to a warm-weather destination, then it’s time to throw a pair of shorts, sundress, and a swimsuit into your suitcase. but before we hit the beach to spend some quality time by the water we’ll want to make certain our legs are in tip-top condition. that’s when a Philips SatinShave Advanced comes in handy.

if you’re ready to experience a smooth shave with fewer nicks, cuts, and irritation, then it’s time to give Philips SatinShave Advanced a spin. it can be used wet or dry or in or out of the tub. how’s that for convenience? and the Philips SatinShave Advanced has an anti-slip grip for easy handling. but i also love the fact that the Philips SatinShave Advanced is environmentally friendly. that’s right. this isn’t a disposable razor that’s used once then tossed into the garbage. the Philips SatinShave Advanced features a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that provides 1 hour of cordless use. simply plug it in, let it charge for 8 hours, then go. it even comes with a convenient travel pouch that’s perfect to slip into your carry-on or suitcase.
the s-shaped handle allows for a better reach all over your body – and it looks good on your bathroom counter. the PhilipsSatinShave Advanced also has a battery indicator light, so you’re never surprised by a low battery that stops mid-shave.
as we age, our skin can become more sensitive. but the Philips SatinShave Advanced has hypoallergenic flexing foil that’s designed for shaving sensitive skin – and all those areas that are prone to cuts & irritation.
ready to hit the beach with smooth soft legs? then you won’t want to leave home without a Philips SatinShave Advanced, available at Amazon. Use code SATINSHAVE for 10% off at checkout!

Hi Beth,
Please tell us about that beautiful flowered tote in this post.
Thanks, Julie
Hello Beth I am new to your Blog. I love your hair cut. I have hair similar to yours thick with cow licks and a little wave. I did see a video of how you blow dry it. I would like to see one of how you cut it if possible. Thank you, Helen
the tote is Herschel.
Good morning Beth,
Would you be so kind as to tell me where you bought your tweed frayed edged sweater that you are wearing in the latest post.
Thank you
the tweed jacket will be featured in a future post. stay tuned!
Excellent idea as we are all trying to rid our selves of disposables. I have skin issues with soaps, so have been using their epilators for decades. I have very coarse, resistant hair, which led to stubble by the next day with shaving, as well. The epilators take a bit of getting used too, like waxing, but without the mess and are recharging, so no battery. I can now do my legs and underarms once a week with sparse and soft regrowth. The sensation lessens over time to the point where, now, I don’t really notice it anymore.
just love the idea of an environmentally friendly shaver!
Nice! I am fortunate that I don’t have much hair on my legs these days, so don’t have to shave often, but always nice to have a decent razor. Love this. Your getaway last week looked wonderful. Glad you got a chance to chill some. Happy Hump day!
ha ha! one of the advantages of aging. right?!
I am new to your blog and I love it! You cover a variety of subjects that really hit home for me. Most of all, you’re just very real and that makes it so much easier to relate to your posts.
thanks so much, jan! i’m happy to hear you are enjoying the blog.
I so appreciate and admire your generosity in sharing your life with your readers…..and thought you might like a laugh! My parents gave me an electric shaver for my 16th birthday [I am 73] and it is still going strong!!! The one you describe today is way prettier, though….
now that’s what i call bang for your buck!
Just FYI, I ordered the Satin Shaver from Amazon but the Discount Code would not apply.
thanks for letting me know, jackie. i will check on that and get back to you.
