this is oscar on most afternoons, lazing on his bed. but the minute you walk into the kitchen to rustle up some grub he’s right by your side.
this weekend is Father’s Day. can you believe we are halfway through 2018?! mr. style and i are headed to the beach this weekend to celebrate his big day, but we still managed to squeeze in a barbeque before we left. i love this time of year when the kitchen moves outside and so does our dining experience. the chicken is spatchcocked (a fancy name for splitting then flattening the bird) for a faster and easier grill time. it’s marinated in rosemary, olive oil, and lemon. it’s all yours, mr. style. i like my skin crispy, not charred…
mr. style has a sweet tooth so i whipped up a gluten-free Raspberry Chocolate Truffle. it’s a great way to incorporate fresh raspberries that are in abundance this time of year. this is a very easy recipe that takes about ten minutes to make.
this t-shirt dress is from Everlane purchased on sale last January. this time of year there is nothing like a comfy dress. didn’t i warn you i was determined to add more dresses into my wardrobe? here are a few t-shirt dresses that caught my eye.
all right gang cheers to friday! oscar and i wish each of you a lovely weekend! ollie too.
