Hot August days and nights bring luscious peaches to our minds and lips…with summer fun!!

Homemade Peach ice cream…cobbler, pies, jams, drinks, and salads! Yum!

Picked from trees and bushels for our delight, this delicious fruit was so savored in years gone by, they were canned and bottled for enjoyment during the rest of the year!!

Georgia Peaches are celebrated this month!! We never want summer to end…yet it is in sight!! Our dear Beth celebrates her special day soon…

Let’s celebrate Beth, all August babies, and Summer with Peaches and Cream, a little Bitter Peach Tom Ford scent, and a fabulous Peach Bellini or two!!

Pitchers of them bring happy memories of my days at Harry’s Bar in The Sherry-Netherland Hotel, New York, as well as the original Harry’s Bar and Restaurant in Venice established by Giuseppe Cipriani in 1931! I had the privilege of lunching there with Countess Elsie Gozzi of Fortuny, her beloved greyhound, and my Gump’s Boss while organizing exclusive textile products for our fabulous Italian Event. It was her favorite spot, certainly a special memory…and of course, we taxied by boat, dog in tow!
