Saturday Guest Post from MMK
Happy June!! Here comes the…. Wedding!! Here comes Travel!!
Wedding Season has taken on new meaning these special days, as the World Opens again!! I have been Registering Couples like crazy and helping Mothers of Brides and Grooms with attire and gifts for Weddings… Some are destinations, some in our own back yard – Sonoma to Cape Cod-even Spain!! All are sooo thrilled for the Weddings to be happening at all!! Hard to believe June is here already! It has sooo many memories for so many of us…me included.
MMK with my adorable niece in my Priscilla of Boston gown for my June Wedding…just yesterday!!
FYI – The Flowers for June are the Rose and the Honeysuckle…meaning romance and love!! How perfect!! June’s gemstones are the Pearl and Moonstone!! More on those later.

I am including some fabulous Books on Weddings….of course, you have to have Emily Post info…and then decide! Vera Wang is charming, and a must read…knowledge is sooo important and fun!!
Thankfully, weddings, anniversaries, and love never leave us, even as the world turns upside down… even creating a mini baby boom, I think!! Many couples today may still be working from home, but they are planning trips, showers, and long-awaited celebrations for the ceremonies that took place because waiting seemed unthinkable!!
Happiness – Love – Celebration!! Oh, how ready we are!! Family and loved ones seem to be dearer, after what we have all endured – L’Amour, L’Amour!! Some Honeymoons are being tentatively planned with a “later option.” Trips to Europe seem to wait till next year; those planned for now are closer to home in Hawaii and Mexico. Still, the future is looking sooo much brighter. We are all looking forward and getting on with life.
Enjoy a little Kahala, Hawaii – xoxo and Jo Malone Red Roses and new Hibiscus to transport you!!

extraordinaire. David has created and orchestrated events from the White House to memorable Birthday Parties…fun inspiration all! Enjoy!!
Today, I share some of the “happy futures” these couples are loving…hope you do too!! Our homes have become our sanctuaries…I have always believed that!! Now, many have experienced the love of home, its comfort, and beauty that I have always felt. Couples now want to select and Register for quality items. Many have given them a sense of solace, a feeling of dining out when in, and hosting celebrations that have been for two or the pod, and now will be expanded to entertaining at home, special gatherings, and memorable events in greater numbers! Bring out the trays of hors d’hoevres, drinks, buckets for champagne, chilled wines, and buffets tables filled with dining essentials to feed every party imaginable. Guests have lots of wonderful gifting options!!
So much time at home and a need to visit friends and family have also made so many anxious to spread their wings!! A little trip??? Have fun…no matter where your journey leads!!

My daughter is getting married in November 2021 and I am having a very difficult time finding the perfect MOB gown. Would love to see some suggestions.
Hi Linda,
Congratulations on your daughter’s upcoming wedding!! I would suggest you to wear a gown that will be great in photographs of the special day, something in a color flattering to your features & hair color…not the same as the Mother of the Groom. Consider the time of the wedding – whether inside or out, in a church or not. Happy to discuss further.
It should be a wonderful – happy & comfortable day and dress!! Congrats!! xoxo MMK
Our wedding was a July one, 25 years ago this summer, and it was super casual and perfect. I love the creativity we see in today’s less traditional weddings!
Happy Anniversary Robin!! 25 is a fabulous reason to celebrate!! Yes, weddings should reflect the couple and their personal tastes and personalities!!
Happy Memories to you!! xoxo MMK
