there was only a dusting of snow this weekend but the temps dipped down into the twenties. brrrrr. so how did i stay warm come date night with mr. style? faux fur and leather leggings to the rescue. not only are they on-trend but these two beauties are incredibly warm. if the weather had been a tad warmer i might have worn black pumps. instead, i chose suede booties that graze my ankle length leggings. but let’s not forget to add a few jazzy accessories. after all, it is date night. lately, i’ve been crushing on dangly earrings. and a cute clutch handbag that holds my essentials both help make this ootn sing. add bright lip color that’ll chase away those winter blues and i’m set for the evening.

Woohoo! I have a vest, leggings and suede booties. Add a top and I’m good to go. Why didn’t I think to wear these pieces together?
i’m so glad you stopped by! looks like you have a new outfit to wear just by shopping your closet.

Cute! I have that vest, and I do believe I could re-create this look easily. It was 9 degrees this morning and tomorrow night and the next days I think we may get back up to the 70’s. Go figure.
that’s the one good thing about living south. the temps bounce all over the place and the cold weather never overstays its welcome. i’m looking forward to seventy degrees. especially as i head to minnesota on sunday. and minnesota in january can be brutal…
