seersucker summer

seersucker is for summer. add a pair of sneakers and it’s casual chic all the way. plus, tennies are so comfy to wear. especially if you’re trekking around town, hunting down the perfect paraphernalia for your porch. how’s that for alliteration? the ootd starts with a pair of seersucker capri’s. many of you write and ask if capri’s are still ‘in.’ well, i never thought they went ‘out’ but do keep in mind proportion when selecting this style of pant. avoid a wide leg or those that hit mid-calf. the pair i have on today is sleek and streamlined. and hits just above my ankle. this length gives me the flexibility to pair them with pointy-toed flats or heels for an uber chic look. but since i have a linen sweatshirt on today i went with more casual footwear. don’t you think a silk scarf and straw basket tote give my ootd a little pizazz? it’s just the right amount without going overboard. it’s thursday, ladies! make it a good one.
