if you have never considered adding a print to your wardrobe, think again. it’s the perfect pattern play all summer long. for today’s ootd i went with a bold flower design. after all, april showers bring may flowers. i for one am happy to see an array of blooms scattered throughout athens in all sorts of multi-colored schemes. so why not let mother nature be my inspiration? after the photo shoot my photographer and i dropped in at the heirloom a charming cafe that serves scrumptious farm to table dishes. herbs and flowers alike lined the perimeter of the outdoor seating area – my skirt fit right in. but the real treat of the day was when i was greeted with an abundance of heirloom tomatoes neatly tucked inside the produce department of our local grocery store (am i the only one who makes a daily visit?) guess who filled their sack to the brim? it’s the little things in life that always bring a smile to my face. like this fun and flirty skirt. a straw handbag and pink sandals reinforce my summertime theme. and what about a statement necklace? don’t you think it’s the finishing touch this ootd needs? sadly, this necklace is sold out. it was from the Oprah and Talbots collaboration for Dress for Success. but take heart, i’ve linked several similar items for your perusal.
