summer swagger
there are particular regions of the country where spring has sprung then disappeared altogether. not so here in georgia. today our temps will be flirting with the ninety-degree mark. that’s summer in my book. although the humidity hasn’t quite kicked into the oppressive range, yet. maybe you’re not quite ready to beat the heat in your neck of the woods, but rest assured summer is coming. if you want to stay fresh and chic, do i have an outfit for you! many of you write in asking for outfits that incorporate leggings, a look that’s not typically in my playbook. but hey, i can expand my horizons too. for a long, lean monochromatic look, a pair of black leggings would have been the ticket. and perfect for evening. instead, i opted for a daytime ootd and chose white capris. the long sheer tunic has slits on either side for ease of movement. but remember, tossing on a sheer cami underneath is an excellent choice if you’re in the market for extra coverage (i was). black sandals, silver necklace and an armful of bangles are the finishing touches for this casual chic outfit. summer? give me your best shot. i’m ready for you.
