  1. Morning Girlfriend- Not harder to meet new people but increasingly harder to have a connection with others as we define our collective interests. I also like to have time for the effort to maintain a good friendship. It does not always have to be in person…but catching up on a regular basis is essential.-Laurel Bledsoe

hey GF! wise words about maintaining friendships. it’s so important to make the time and effort for friends. it’s so easy to get caught up in our day-to-day lives it’s all too easy to omit the little things that make a friendship work. something as simple as a phone call to say ‘hey.’

How lovely that you both had the opportunity to meet! I have met people from my online relationships before, and I always sort of feel like I’m “walking into a photo” or something–it’s surreal in a way. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it every time. Love the white and gingham together–the kicky skirt is fabulous!

I used to think of myself as shy, but the older I get I realize I’m not shy at all–and I basically love meeting new people. Every single person has a story, and I feel fortunate to learn about any of them.

There you are with that great gingham again. Love, love it!

i always love to pull out the gingham once spring arrives. i suppose it should remind me of dorothy’s infamous dress and steer clear of it. but it’s such a classic in my eyes i can’t resist! i feel the same way about red shoes.
