Step into the Weekend
Halloween is almost here, and between a day at the pumpkin patch and figuring out what to pack for a fall wedding weekend, this week felt like autumn in every sense of the word. We took Butterbean and her sister Biscuit to the pumpkin patch—along with what felt like half of Georgia, because apparently everyone else had the same idea. The weather was perfection; the pumpkins were already picked and waiting for us, so the real adventure was wandering the corn mazes, visiting the petting zoo, and walking the fields.
Getting there was an adventure in itself. My kiddos drive a Kia Telluride with a pop-up third row, and yours truly slid all the way into the back, navigating car seats as I went. Ladies, this is exactly why I work out — so I can maneuver whatever life hands me, car seats and all. It’s also why Creatine is part of my regimen.
And now it’s wedding weekend. I’m headed to the Georgia coast for a friend’s daughter’s black-tie wedding, and the forecast looks divine.
