it’s that time of year when the fashion mags roll out their take on the trends for the season. and while i am a classic girl at heart it’s also fun now and then to take such a trend and spin it your way. this safari jacket from zara was just up my alley with it’s boxy cut and oversized pockets. personally, i think that this particular look never goes out of style. of course, the overall aesthetic needs to be updated every few years to stay fresh and current, but safari-inspired looks like a chic khaki shirt dress, or camp shirt just scream timeless – dare i say it – ageless style. i adore chunky jewelry and this is the perfect outfit to layer on the accessories. keep it neutral with your handbag and shoes and you’ll see that the safari spirit is one trend that gets better each time.
