trend alert wide-leg pants

After much trial and many unhappy returns, I finally found a pair of wide leg jeans that are the most comfortable jeans I have worn since high school. I prefer the leg width to be the same from hip to hem. No lantern legs for me. What I like best is that getting the rise and waist measurement right means a perfect fit for my triangle body shape. I almost want a second pair. Even if this trend passes quickly, why wouldn’t I want something that looks this good and feels great?

  2. Good morning Beth
Your are my sunshine every day.
you take a simple pair of pants and create a beautiful combination!!
    Admire you very much

What a charming and happy outfit. Makes me smile. I have that style of sandal in several colors and love them. Also love wicker purses. Now I must be on the lookout for a similar pair of pants. They are just so cute – will one pair be enough??

  4. Kim says:

Great post! I see that you’re pairing flats with the wide leg pants. What sort of shoe would you suggest for a more formal look, i.e. black double breasted blazer and white, wide leg pants? Thanks!

  5. Andrea says:

Beautiful colour palate. Nothing says spring and summer like crisp blue and white stripes.

Glad to hear, you’re progressing smoothly on your IPL journey, Beth. Wouldn’t have noticed anything actually, unless I do a close up. Just remember, even in clouds or cold weather, sunscreen is now a daily part of your routine to keep them from coming back. Silver lining to Covid – like you, most of my gal pals have taken advantage of the lack of socializing to grow their hair out or tweak things. 🌷

I love the tread toward sane and comfortable pants. That top is so cute. I would not have thought to pair that with my blue striped pants, it’s all in the details and looks so modern compared to my plain white tee.

  7. Donna says:

Who makes these pants? I hope they make more. They look amazing and I love that high waist and loose fitting are back even though I’m short.

  8. Karel says:

    Great post as usual, Beth!

One question: I thought it was Palm Beach (brand) that crafted the original, authentic Jackie Kennedy sandals?

    Regardless, you look fabulous!

  9. Barbara Lacy says:

Beth, I really enjoy the down to earth openness of your blog. Micro needling sounds scary. After IPL why do you also need the needling?

    • Beth Djalali says:

IPL addressed the sunspots/brownspots caused by sun damage. micro-needling stimulates collagen production. collagen is key
for healthy skin, hair, and nails. but micro-needling specifically addresses your face.
