spring is a glorious time of year. inspiration is all around us as we soak in nature’s bounty. beautiful color schemes burst forth with purples, pinks, yellows, and greens leading the way. so why not incorporate those glorious colors into our wardrobe? if you thought you couldn’t wear certain colors think again. oh sure, maybe you don’t have the skin tone to carry off pink when it’s smack dab next to your face. but why not try a pair of pink jeans? or maybe you shy away from yellow shirts and blouses. how about a yellow handbag instead? you see, there are many ways to incorporate color into your daily life. go on, try it. you just might like it.

Beautiful colors in all of these. I’m still wearing some of my winter things, but definitely notice I’m incorporating color as well, with such spring-like temps so early.
The past week got chilly again, though, and I admit I was glad I still had warm things to grab for…such a strange winter. Tonight, we have a crackling fire in the fireplace, and it was 28 degrees outside last night. But the redbuds are blooming, bradford pear trees are abloom all over, and our daffodils are already a thing of the past. Camellias are still going strong, and tulips are on the way up. Spring is definitely on its way.
it did get cold again. we’ve had to crank the heat on in the morning to chase the chill away. i’m not certain what the trees think with all this back-and-forth. but the bradford pears have already bloomed. so i think i’m going to plant my window boxes this weened. even though it’s been a mild winter i’m ready to sit on my porch again.

I love color and usually I wear color no matter the season I am living on.
i love color year round too, maria! but when nature gives me a glorious backdrop i just have to step up my color game.

Every outfit on this post is gorgeous! I’ve been missing color, what with all the grays of winter. Happy Spring!
