today, i’m speed typing to get this post off before i head out the door. but i wanted to mention there is still time to shop the O, The Oprah Magazine collection in partnership with Talbots. if you remember, 30% of the proceeds benefit Dress for Success a not-for-profit organization that supports women reentering the work force. this is an amazing cause, and the reason i am speed typing this morning. the atlanta Dress for Success chapter is hosting an awards luncheon today with yours truly in attendance. the polka dot sweater featured in today’s ootd is part of the collection. you last saw me wear it here with a pencil skirt. today’s version is a little less formal but i’m loving it paired with this purple striped button-up and blue jeans. a pair of glitzy flats adds subtle sophistication that keeps me on the move. this ootd is perfect weekend gear or a weekday chock full of errands. if any of you are on snapchat, yes, there’s another social medium out there to learn, i will try and sneak in a few behind the scenes chats! my name on snapchat is styleatacertain
labels: denim Talbots; shirt Talbots; cardigan c/o Talbots; shoes Talbots limited sizes (similar here and here)

I have to ask, do you ever look in your closet and think, I have nothing to wear?? Have a great day at your luncheon!

i do! all the time, but then i roll my sleeves up and start mixing-and-matching and then voila – an ootd for both you and me. if i had to, i could probably wear a sweater and jeans everyday and be happy as a clam. but then i started this style blog… funny story as this morning i woke up late and hadn’t decided what to wear to dress for success luncheon. so i just pulled up an older blog post and the decision was made in seconds.

haha good to know!
Hi Beth, relatively new fan here. I look forward to your posts daily. Can you tell me the brand of your handbag in this post? Really cute!
hi jeanette,
so sorry i missed this comment! the handbag is miu miu. it’s about 10 years old.
