many of you will be happy to hear that boot cut jeans are back in a big way. i don’t think the love affair with skinny jeans is over. but the seventies vibe is still going strong and with it a wider leg on jeans. how can i not love the decade where i transitioned from teeny-bopper (who remembers teen beat magazine?) to college student? so it’s a no-brainer for me to embrace a smidge of fringe now-and-then. block sandals and bucket bags were also popular way-back-then and i love them just as much today. a long tassel necklace is just the finishing touch needed for this head-to-toe denim ensemble. well, let’s add more than one bangle. on most days, i have a less-is-more thing going on. but when it comes to baubles this season more-is-more is definitely how it’s done. so bangle on, ladies!

p.s. the vest is from a local boutique – fabrik. i have it linked. this company also has an online presence.

I am a fan of boot cut jeans! Love the vest and am so excited that sandal weather is approaching! Not yet, but soon! (weather in Ohio is fickle!)
oh that fickle midwest weather! actually, our temps have bounced around this past week. one day we’re freezing our fannies off the next i’m looking for a pair of shorts…
