love is all around. there are no truer words in the month of february thanks to st. valentine’s day, a celebration observed worldwide on February 14th. according to wikipedia, a popular account of saint valentine of Rome states ‘that he was imprisoned for performing weddings to soldiers who were forbidden to marry and for ministering to christians who were persecuted under the roman empire.’ today, it’s common to show our love and affection by exchanging flowers, candy, and cards. many of us have already placed dinner reservations, months in advance. and have either picked out, or are on the hunt for the perfect dress to celebrate the evening in style. for me, i’m just having a bit of fun with this adorable sweater that demanded i pulled out my bicycle for a spin. so tell me ladies, what are your plans for valentine’s day? do you have a special outfit you’re planning on wearing to a special dinner?

What a cute sweater! I laughed at your Valentines outfit question, since I’m sure I’ll be sick and tired of the same few winter outfits I’ve been wearing since we arrived in France. We had good reason to carry on rather than check luggage, but the downside is boredom! I’m NOT complaining though – loving every minute here, as usual!
