does the weather affect the way you dress? if the gray skies swirling above are an indicator the answer would be yes. since i’m a midwest girl through-and-through i do have somewhat of an obsession with the weather forecast. most likely due to the fact that on any given day the climate in nebraska could violently swing from 90 degrees to 50 degrees then decide to throw in a tornado or maybe golf-ball sized hail just for kicks. so it comes naturally to me to (obsessively?) check the weather channel to see what’s in store for the next few days. granted, there are many times when i combat a dreary day with an infusion of color. but sometimes you just have to go with the flow, and that’s just what’s happening with my ootd today. as a matter of fact, the only bling you’ll see is my earrings. i am going full-throttle winter with an oversized turtleneck (i sized up for this look), leather leggings, and suede pumps. i know, i know. i’m sans socks once again, but hey, when you live in a micro-climate you have options…for those of you asking questions about how my hair is cut, i’ve added a profile photo that hopefully gives you an idea.

The grey looks great on you! Love the leather pants on you, too!
someone must have been reading my mind because I was going to ask for a side and back view of your hair. I’ve been wanting to cut mine in a style like yours and when I go back to my beautician in February I want to show her your picture! Would it be possible for you to do a short tutorial or post on how you blow dry and style your hair? Mine is so thick and heavy and I have a hard time getting that “poof” on top.
(Or you can email me with how you do your hair to email@example.com) Thanks Beth for always inspiring me!
Grey is a good color for you and I love the leather leggings…
