Happy Birthday, Wishes…. September Babies!!
Wishes for Health, Happiness, Success, and Love…. Each of us had a special day when we entered this world!! Every year, Sophia Loren and I celebrate September 20th ! We share the day, Italy – Sicily too! What is more deserving of celebration??
My father was Italian. As a little girl, I was told I looked just like him…a bit distressing for a very girlie 5-year-old! Little girls want to look pretty!! My olive skin, dark hair, and nose are dead giveaways for my Dad’s side…my Mother’s, very fair Czech!! The first time I went to Italy, I felt like I was home!!
This special week, I thought it would be Birthday Fun to share some of My Favorite Things… There is a little mental game – exercise, in fact, to keep the brain healthy… It is selecting a word or words, then coming up with 5 words associated with each letter! (Of course, I have more favorite things than these letters provide!!)

Love in White is one of my favorite scents – from five continents!! How’s that for global unity? It combines my love of France and Italy, blending Florentine iris and French daffodils! Love – yes! My love of scent, of course, would not be complete without my beloved Jo Malone Collection…
