bold gold
there is nothing better than a shade of yellow to brighten my mood , and heck, it’s a color that’s on trend for spring 2015. i’m not certain what hue pantone is calling the color of my JCrew denim these days, but twenty or thirty years ago they would have been called mustard or gold. and gold rhymes with bold so there you go – i have a title for today’s ootd. my sweater has a bold color pattern so to tone it down a smidge i went with a sheer black button up and a pair of colored jeans. plain accessories keep the focus on my sweater, but add the finishing touch to my outfit. and, even though we are only midway through the week this outfit definitely screams Saturday, or Sunday if you like and a day at the ballpark. opening day for baseball is just around the corner, and look who already has her outfit picked out? now the only decision to be made is between a bratwurst or hotdog.

♥♥♥ the outfit and especially the pants. I have ordered two pairs of yellow pants this past month and none are bright enough, maybe you just found my pants for me!! They look like the perfect color. Pantones color of the year is Marsala, a horrible dark tea rose, or dusty burgandy. That was a shocker. I pick out my own color of the year for myself every year, last year it was YELLOW and this year it was again YELLOW and blush pink.
