i realize that i have bombarded you with the color yellow this past week (i’m two for two) but it is spring, after all, and yellow never shines brighter than this time of year. nature is cueing us with an abundance of perennials that are beginning to bloom day-by-day. think daffodils, coneflowers, gaillardias, gloriosa daisy, or yarrow. i love them all. when we lived in minnesota this was the time of year i anxiously scoured the ground for any signs of life bursting forth. it was always a happy day when the daffodils decided it was time to pay a visit – they’re such a happy flower. so it’s easy for me to reach for my neon yellow sweater to spice up my mean green skirt. toss on my jean jacket, a pair of yellow flats, and it’s time to head out to enjoy the glorious day filled with sunshine. and if i happen to come home with a bouquet or two of spring flowers in my hand laced with yellow, well, my day just got brighter.

Didn’t realize you had the blue and white stripe shirt on with it. Wasn’t able to see it in your IG post. Love this look!
