adventures in atlanta
when the going gets tough, you call one of your besties and go shopping. mind you, not just any shopping spree, we’re talking about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. since yours truly has only received one item from my order placed on the second day of the sale i thought it was time to take matters into my own hands. any excuse to bop down to Atlanta is a good excuse especially since i’m picking up The Silver Stylist on my way. there might be a few laughs, and i’ll do my best to snap a few Instagram Stories to highlight our ladies day out complete with lunch. and, of course, a few sneak peeks of what caught our eye. don’t worry, there will be a full recap of our trip on tomorrow’s blog. if you love to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, you won’t want to miss Tuesday. there’s still two more weeks of shopping the Anniversary sale as prices don’t go back up until August 6th. didn’t i tell you this sale is a marathon?
what did i wear to Atlanta? something comfy and easy to pull off and back on again. cropped green linen pants (similar here) should do the trick along with a graphic tee (similar here) with a pop of yellow. and we all know how departments stores blast the air conditioner during these hot summer months. so a ruffled denim jacket is a must. suede yellow sandals tie back to the tee and are easy to slip on and off. which leaves a bucket bag (similar here) in a neutral shade and long strap that converts to a crossbody bag if i need to shop hands-free.
