One can always count on being noticed when one wears a hat (by hat, I mean a real hat — none of this baseball cap or beanie business!). For that reason, I will only wear one when I’m already feeling confident and pulled-together. Just dressing up these days is enough to draw attention; adding a hat takes it to a whole new level.
