Loft Riviera Slim Pants in Stripe | J.Crew Cashmere Shrunken Tee (Similar Yellow) | Vivaia Pointed Toe Mary Janes | Rothyโs The Point Mary Jane II
I love stripes any time of year, so when I saw these striped pants at Loft, I knew they had to be part of my wardrobe! The black and white striped Riviera Slim Pants fit like a dream – Perfect for petites, and because they are black and white, I can pair them with any color top, easily creating light and breezy outfits for any spring day.
To celebrate springโs arrival, I paired my striped pants with a bright lemon yellow cashmere tee. This color is from last year, so itโs not available, but there is a bitter yellow color that is just as gorgeous. (In fact, I just added the bitter yellow version to my cashmere tee collection! I canโt have enough of these J.Crew cashmere tees, they go with everything all year long!)

White Negroni
We have done a white negroni on Fridays with Oscar before, but I couldnโt think of a better cocktail pairing with our savory white pizza than a bitter floral white Negroni! Suze is a liqueur made with gentian. Gentian is an herb used for a variety of ailments including loss of appetite, which makes it a perfect aperitif.
White Negroni
Ingredients:
- 3 oz. gin
- 2 oz. Lillet blanc
- 1 oz. Suze gentian liqueur or Cocchi Americano or any other Blanc Vermouth
- Garnish: lemon twists
Instructions:
- Add the gin, Lillet blanc and Suze into a mixing glass with ice and stir for 15 to 20 seconds until well-chilled.
- Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
- Garnish with a lemon twist.

White Pizza
This white pizza is simple and customizable. Use your favorite cheeses; we used a combination of Gruyere, Fontina, Mozzarella, and blue cheese โ for a hint of funk. Flavorful and meltable cheeses with fresh herbs and garlic infused olive oil is all it takes to make a delicious white pizza, so get creative โ no one will be disappointed!
White Pizza
Ingredients:
- 1 prepared Pizza Dough at room temperature
- 1/4 cup Olive Oil
- 3 Cloves Garlic minced or pressed
- 1/4-1/3 cup Shredded Mozzarella
- 1/4-1/3 cup Shredded Gruyere
- 1/4-1/3 cup Shredded Fontina
- ~1/4 cup Blue Cheese crumbled (or burrata)
- 2 tsp. Fresh Thyme or Oregano
- Flaky Sea Salt
- Fresh Cracked Pepper
- Grated Parmesan optional
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Add the garlic to the olive oil and set aside.
- Roll or stretch the dough to about 12 inches round, lay the dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Brush the dough with the garlic olive oil, and top it with your shredded cheeses. Spread each cheese in an even, thin layer. Then sprinkle the fresh herb leaves and finally, add the blue cheese crumbles; go easy with the blue cheese.
- Bake for about 10-15 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and browning.
- As soon as the pie comes out, brush the crust with more of the garlic olive oil and sprinkle some flaky sea salt on the crust. Then, if you like, add a few cranks of fresh cracked black pepper and grated parmesan.
