fridays with oscar

if you noticed oscar’s tongue hanging out that’s because the temps were quite summer-like today here in georgia. low 80’s. after living in tropical climates for over a decade i’m no stranger to hot and humid, but oscar has only dealt with san francisco’s micro-climate and georgia’s mild winter so we’ll see how he handles summer. we have a lovely screened in porch (i’m in heaven) which at the moment, is one of his favorite places to hang out. it’s the perfect perch in which to scout for birds, squirrels and deer. plus there’s a collie across the woods named brody that he likes to chat with. i think athens and oscar were made for each other. but for today’s fridays with oscar, we are out and about on one of our walks around town. of course, oscar is always on the look out for anything that appeals to his palate. me, i’m just enjoying the beautiful scenery and reminding oscar every now and then that i’m the one that’s supposed to be in charge… the beautiful coral sweater i have on today was last seen here, the striped shirt here, and the shoes here.
