Happy Monday, ladies! July is winding down. Hard to believe, but I’m totally OK with it, because it’s been busy busy over here on the blog. Wide-leg pants have been a favorite this summer. I’ve featured them in linen several times. Today, is an embroidered pair from Ann Taylor that come in regular, petite, and tall.
To accentuate the color pop, I’ve set the pants against a neutral white background: a wrap white sweater shell and sandals. I’ve added a matching statement necklace for some extra visual interest.

Red and white is probably my favorite color combination of all. You look terrific in it. I also really like the wrap shell. I have a bit of a tummy and simply can not bear the half tuck. It looks very nice on the slim woman, but on me, it not only accentuates my stomach, but there is a big wad of blouse pooching out in the back.
Wow. I feel like you read my mind. I was just thinking that I’m getting tired of my usual summer colors, which for me are blues and pinks in addition to white/neutral. And boom … here comes an awesome outfit with red being the star of the show. And I so love the sweater shell as opposed to a white T. Nice change. I plan to order this.
