classic meets modern with this iconic shirtdress. timeless but playful this dress will take me straight into summer. you may have heard it said that women of any age shouldn’t wear bold prints. obviously, i don’t always play by the ‘rules’. bold, bright colors have a time and place in your wardrobe as well as prints – if you like them. the style trick is to pair the print with a classic look. and what is more classic than a shirtdress? so go ahead, give yourself permission to move outside of your comfort zone. play around with prints, and bright colors. perhaps start small with a silk scarf tied around your purse and take it from there. who knows where your style journey will take you? but remember, have fun with your clothes – they are tools to use at your disposal. and you should feel confident when you head out the door. happy hump day!

Love how you have accessorized the dress! I would be waaaaay out of my comfort zone with a dress above my knees. Time to step away from the comfort zone? xoxo
you always have to go with what you feel confident in – no matter what! i think sometimes we women play it safe, and we do have to be open to new ideas. but we all have a gut feeling about clothes and i always say if you don’t feel like a rockstar when you’re wearing an outfit – then don’t!

I love it! And I’ll tell you what else makes or breaks a dress…. the length. Yours is perfect here just barely above the knee. So many ladies don’t realize what a difference the right length can really make. You look maaaaaavelous!
