orange is the new black
there’s nothing like a pop of color. especially after a winter filled with brown and black. and while i’m a big fan of both colors, come spring and summer i’m more than happy to slip into pink or green or even orange.
today’s ootd started with this adorable print popover from Talbots. it was love at first sight with this feminine but fun pattern. it will have no problem flying solo or paired with a classic denim jacket. but i thought it would look jazzy tucked underneath a vest a.k.a twinset shell that has a matching cardigan. frayed hem jeans are still going strong this season so i added another pair to my collection. what grabbed my attention was the length that just grazes my ankle. and i sized up for a looser more relaxed fit. i don’t know about you, but i love having at least one pair of blue jeans on hand that graze my curves rather than hug them.
as far as accessories go, i kept the look simple with the addition of block heels that tie back to the print of the shirt. a neutral handbag, a charm bracelet, and this girl is good to go.

i just fell in love with this popover print, sue, the moment i saw it! and it goes great with my block heels that i could probably wear everyday ‘cuz they’re pink!

I am not getting your daily email notice or able to access your current blog. Today is Friday so I would expect one with your canine. I don’t know if this is a tech problem or if you haven’t posted. This is such a fresh outfit for spring and you look great. Talbots is my Go-To clothier because the clothes fit me so well right off the rack!

it is definitely a tech problem, meredith that my tech team has been diligently working on the past two weeks. we think all is resolved except the email subscriptions.

hi sharon! the blog has had its share of tech problems that started several weeks ago. we think the email issue has been resolved. fingers crossed. but i’m not 100% convinced. as for the recent posts not showing up on the home page – that issue has been resolved.
