and it’s once around the block before we kick off the weekend. the weather turned a balmy sixty degrees, so it was off with the coats onto the vests. this leopard number from j.crew is toasty warm and darn cute. it sold out in a nanosecond last seen here on the blog. but take a look at a similar vest from INC. a short jacket from Ann Taylor or a longer coat from Via Spiga. don’t know what it is about leopard this year but if you blink it will be gone.
today i put jenna lyons claim to the test that stripes and leopard are neutrals. so i popped a striped tee from ralph lauren over a striped shirt from j.crew. then added leopard. if it’s time for a walk with oscar, then it’s time for blue jeans. this pair is from banana republic. what better footwear for those concrete streets than sneakers? i‘m decidedly old school today with a pair of snazzy superstar adidas. how’s that for a friday ootd? comfy and cute. casual and chic. just how i like it.
denim | striped tee | striped shirt | similar vest | sneakers
all right, ladies, TGIF! oscar and i wish each of you a lovely weekend. stay warm, stay safe, and eat a christmas cookie for me.

It has been freezing in NYC but hopefully, like you, we will be enjoying slightly warmer temps this week. Oscar looks like he is enjoying his walk with his stylish mom. Does Oscar always wear that vest?
Casual and chic looks very good on you, Beth…Oscar looks well dressed also. Both of you, Looking good as always..
Have a relaxing wonderful weekend–Oscar looks decked out, too–you’re a stylin’ pair. Those shoes look comfy–and the stripes are perfect with the striped top.
So, guess what I wore yesterday…jeans, a striped top & my faux fur leopard vest (which looks almost exactly like yours, lol!) Since I don’t have a dog to walk, I wore a pair of velvet ballet flats with a sparkly bow on the toe! & my red velvet purse that I wear every Xmas season! Thank you, dear Beth! (I’m Marybeth)
