Happy Sunday night, ladies! As I mentioned this morning, July is almost here, which means we’re gearing up for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale over here at SAACA. As you probably know, this is one of the biggest clothing sales of the year. Nordstrom’s new fall merchandise is on sale for the entire month of July. But there are a few things to be aware of, which is why we’re publishing our 2022 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Primer.

Key Dates
A preview of the sale opens to the general public on June 29th. And although the actual sale begins July 6th and lasts through the 31st, shopping windows are based on your Nordy Club status.
- Icon status can shop starting July 6
- Ambassador status can shop starting July 7
- Influencer status can shop starting July 9
- The General public can shop starting July 15
How to Shop the Sale
I’ve shopped the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for years. Note that you can shop in-person or online during your available window. Here are some helpful tips I’ve picked up along the way.
- Use the preview window to build a list of must-haves and nice-to-haves, as many of the items will go quickly and you may not be able to get your top choices.
- Download the Nordstrom App to build that list and get notified if & when your items are in stock.
- Sign up for Nordstrom’s email updates as an additional way to stay informed.
- It may seem early, but start thinking about fall and winter clothing for you and those that you gift clothing to. The Anniversary Sale is an excellent way to stock at great prices.
HOW SAACA IS COVERING THE SALE
The Anniversary Sale is a big deal here at SAACA. Below, I’ve posted links to the last 5 years of my Nordstrom hauls to give you a sense of what to expect.
We’ll be covering the sale Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays for the entire month of July. Given the new additions to the team, this year is going to be really fun.
- On July 7th, Kelly and I will be attending the sale in person. We’ll be posting our dressing room diaries for you, as well as regular columns on Sundays and Thursdays.
- Our new contributor, Jennifer Duvall, will be taking beauty & makeup duty and covering all the great product sales in her Wednesday column.
- Marlene will focus on anything and everything having to do with home design in her Saturday column.

Wonderful post to remind all SAACA readers to look through their closets. Have your sweaters seen better days? Does the shoemaker roll their eyes when you ask if he can once again repair that old but comfy pair of boots? Thanks to Beth and crew we have time to make our shopping list for the Nordy sale. It might not eliminate all my impulse buys but it will reduce it .
