the week between christmas and new years day is bittersweet for me. the holiday rush is over but friends and family are still in town, so it’s the perfect time to unwind and catch up with those you love. which is exactly what this girl has been doing the past few days. and i hope you have too! it’s great fun to look back at the past year. and i have to admit i’m lucky to have the blog which is a diary of sorts that jogs my memory of time, place and purpose. so thank you for letting me share it with you.
but without further adieu let’s finish what we started earlier this week. a recap of your favorite outfits from january – december. this last post is devoted to our favorite fashion season – fall. what is it about boots that make our heart flutter? or suede and leather? whatever it is i’m sold.

our jet tour of 2017 has drawn to an end as we inch our way to 2018. before you know it new years eve is knocking on our door. in a wink, it’s goodbye 2017 hello 2018 and all the possibilities that come with a new year. out with the old in with the new. right? who doesn’t like a fresh start? i’ve never been one to make a list of resolutions, but i sure do like to clean out my closet and take inventory. and i’m always up for new challenges or tweaking things to make them better. there’s been a few behind the scenes discussions here at Style at a Certain Age as we look at our 2018 editorial calendar that i’ll be sharing with you. if you have any suggestions please chime in with a comment or email. in the meantime, happy thursday.
