working shift

on this blog, i showcase a variety of looks. reason being that we women have a variety of roles to play in life. we’re career women, we drive carpool, run errands, plan extracurricular activities. we go to movies, plays, or concerts. fill in the blank. so why not dress our best for the activity at hand? even when the temps soar outside, i want an outfit that will help me play it cool. and that’s just what this simple black shift dress does. there’s nothing fancy about today’s ootd, but it works. notice the length of the necklaces that keep the proportions sleek, but strong. i could easily have donned a pair of heels, but gold studded sandals give it the casual chic look i was after. and the wicker clutch? well, it gives this outfit just the finishing touch it needs. ice tea, anyone?
