Spring has officially arrived! I know I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again, spring could not have arrived any sooner this year. It’s been a long, dreary winter and I’m ready for blue skies and sunshine. So, today, I’m sharing a spring look book: 9 different looks to welcome in Spring.
And I’m more than ready to don my spring apparel. But what to wear in spring when the temps can be 50 degrees in the morning and 80 degrees in the afternoon?
Though the weather is fickle this time of year our wardrobes are ready for all things spring. That means light layers are key. A sweater blazer, utility jacket, denim jacket, or a denim blazer or tweed fringe blazer are important third layers to have on hand to beat the chill. As well as a mock neck sweater shell to tuck underneath.
So what to wear in spring? Comfortable pants and denim in bright colors and bold patterns help make the transition from winter to spring. I’m loving the Ivy Pant from J.McLaughlin in gingham and blue. And a pair of button-front white denim from J.Crew Factory will be on style repeat. Easy breezy tops in lightweight material from Anthropologie and Banana Republic come in handy. Or the quintessential striped tee or lightweight sweater. And let’s not forget to have one or two spring dresses on hand.
Handbags are important accessories that are the icing on the cake of your outfit. I love this pebbled leather handbag from Mark & Graham with bamboo handles that screams spring and summer. And a casual hobo handbag in brown is a great neutral bag that goes with so many outfits.
Today, I’m sharing some old inspiration outfits, plus what I’ve purchased this spring to complement my wardrobe staples. I love to refresh my wardrobe and spring is the perfect time to do that. And we’re sharing lots of photos whether you need inspiration for going out on the weekend or you just need to update your go-to uniform.

Terrific spring outfits. My mind is buzzing over current things I can put together and complete some looks with the pieces you suggest. I love how you make things look youthful; things like camo pants that I wouldn’t even consider. Great ideas Beth.
Love the light pink blazer, Beth! Thanks for the ideas 🙂
I think there are some very cute items out there for spring. I like these a lot. I just purchased a lavender floral denim skirt from Talbots and added the lavender bouquet tee. Looking forward to wearing soon.
