weddings are such a happy occasion. it’s always a great day when you put on your party duds and raise your glass in a toast to the bride and groom. typically, i keep my outfit tailored, and simple especially for a daytime wedding. remember, the wedding is all about the bride – not you. this is the time i wear outfits that fade into the background. neutral or monochromatic color schemes work well as in today’s ootd. a simple sheath dress with a faux suede fabric, patent leather pumps, and a scarf tossed over my shoulder for a little extra pizazz. how’s that for simple? down below, i’ve added a few other dresses, shoes and clutches just for fun. take a look at what caught my eye. head over here to see what i wore last year.

May I ask why you never wear any sort of hose?
well, i am not a big fan of hose. if the occasion is black tie i would, perhaps, grudgingly slip a pair on. but i’ve been lucky enough to live in climates where the weather complies with a sans hosiery philosophy. but if you love them – wear them. style is all about what you feel comfortable in.

Well, I am not so sure about you fading into the background, because, girlllllll you look SMART! This is a very becoming outfit. 🙂

ha, ha! this dress does fit like a glove, but the lining helps keep everything in place!
