pomp and circumstance
special occasion alert – graduation day is fast approaching. the date is set either for may or june, and you’re wondering what to wear? since many graduations are set in the open air, and temps can be hot and humid this time of year i opted for a fit and flare skirt and sleeveless blouse. sandals or pumps, structured handbag, and i’m photo-ready fit to been seen alongside the recent graduate. and, if a celebratory dinner is on the menu after the big ceremony i’m ready to take my seat and lift a glass for a toast. as for me, my family is counting down the days for my oldest son’s graduation day on june 15th! my middle son will be flying in from nyc, and we have a fun weekend planned at lake tahoe before the big day. i’ll squeeze in a post in the next month on what to pack for a getaway weekend.

Our oldest son is graduating May 8, and we’ve planned a weekend at the lake to celebrate. Both sets of grandparents are able to attend–what a blessing! This outfit is perfect, and I’m excited to see what you’ll pack for your Tahoe getaway.
