Whether you use initial or monogrammed heirlooms of inherited or contemporary dinnerware, silver service, frames, napkins, ornaments, pillows, throws or towels; it is lovely to add touches of personalization to your holidays! Traditions can be old and new – charming all!

1. How to Personalize
Collectible monogrammed items become design elements for your table, home or handbag!
If you are creating – ordering, remember a few helpful “guidelines.”
Typically, for a family or single initial the first letter of the last name ie P for the Parker or Perry family.It is also appropriate for each person to have their own 1st initial.
For women, it is her first initial…for a man, first initial of his last name. If for a couple, and you wish a 3-initial monogram: – when all letters are the same size, WPA - the woman’s first initial, then man’s first initial and 1st initial of their last name ( ie. Willa and Patrick Aynsley)
If however, the 3-initial monogram has a larger letter in the center, it it their last name:
WPA or Katherine and Mark Clement KCM

2. Personalizing the Home
If you are selecting cocktail napkins, you could use S for Samantha, M for Michael as shown or use their last initial for all. The Herend coaster below could be A for the Ansley Family or Alice.
