the weather was definitely our foe for this particular photo shoot. hopefully, you will see the beauty of this diaphanous skirt in spite of the gusts of wind that felt as if it would blow me right into the water. i love to showcase a variety of looks here at Style at a certain age as we lead such busy lives and have a multitude of occasions to jet off to. pool parties or beach parties are certainly in the mix for many of us so for today’s ootd we headed to the pier. i kept the look simple with a blue tee and white blouse that will let the skirt with its beautiful layers of color steal the show. i chose my new lilly pineapple sandal to complete the look, but a pair of espadrilles would be equally as cute. sunscreen and a hat and i’m ready to set sail or take a dip in the pool. did you know? summer is coming.

the outfit was wonderful, the wind on the other hand…
Love the skirt but you forgot to tell us about the hat! I’ve been searching for a white Panama with a broad brim and failing so far.
You might be in luck with the hat! Merona @Target. It’s really a great hat for the money.
You’re kidding! Thank you, I shall check online and at my local Target.
