out and about in our neighborhood today, enjoying a laid-back labor day. the temps have soared into the eighties so we’re keeping our cool as we meander down the street on our way to brunch. i should have worn a fun flirty skirt and a pair of sandals on a day like this. but no, i started the day wearing a pair of dark rinse jeans paired with a sleeveless blouse in a summery print. my straw handbag picks up its color scheme from the blouse. i didn’t forget to bring along a summer weight cardigan as early in the day the air was on the chilly side. but it was soon shed as the temps began to climb. my pointy-toed flats finish off my ootd and let me log in a few miles as we walked to our destination and back. happy labor day!
