Our choice of centerpiece is prime…pure drama!!
Is the ambiance you wish casual or elegant?
Will you need centerpieces for the main dining table and several smaller tables, a buffet table for appetizers, drinks and dessert as well? You might even need one for a fun kiddy table and arrangements for your entryway and “powder room.”
Every room of your home deserves fresh beauty!!
Vegetables, pumpkins or squash can actually become the vase or container, natural beauty for sure! Vessels may also include pitchers, cachepots, tureens, urns and more…antique or not! They may be in the pattern of your dinnerware or totally different – even basketry.

The choice of flowers can make all the difference. A profusion of a single color can make dramatic impact or even a single stem at each place setting. Orange certainly is one of the best loved colors of this season and its vibrancy is total drama! Orange flowers include beautiful Alstroemeria, California Poppies, Chrysanthemums, Dahlias, Gerber Daisies, Ranunculus and, of course Roses!
It’s best to reserve very fragrant flowers for other rooms so the scent won’t overwhelm the aroma of the food and do check the height of the arrangement or centerpiece to allow everyone to see one another across the table.
A pillow or throw at the back of a chair adds additional comfort and intimacy, texture and color too!

Bowls of fruit also create beautiful centerpieces – still life’s, actually!! Be your own Cézanne or de Heem. Think apples, artichokes, persimmons, pomegranates. Think in color!
