today’s special occasion alert is a daytime outfit fit for a fabulous ladies luncheon or bridal shower. think cucumber sandwiches, earl grey tea, and scones with butter and whipped cream. the skirt i have on for my ootd is made from ultrasuede, a fabric made famous by Halston back in the ‘seventies. i also have a dress made from this same fabric that i will feature at a later date. my boucle blazer is also tailor-made and is patterned after a classic chanel jacket. nude heels, several layered necklaces (i’m always a big fan of pearls), and a statement handbag bring this look together.
