five o’clock
if it’s five o’clock in your part of the world (my mother’s favorite time of day) then you just might be slipping out the door to join friends or family for cocktails. many times, i reach for a pair of heels and clutch to spruce up my outfit to transition from day to evening. but today, i chose glittery flats and a sparkly clutch. metallics just ooze glamor and is one reason i always have a pair of metallic shoes sitting in my closet. lately, i’ve been liking the long over lean trend. so out came a tuxedo tunic that looks perfectly fine on its own over a pair of cigarette pants. but it’s still a tad chilly here in athens so i opted to add a blazer. it might be hard to see from the photos but the blazer has thin stripes. for added pizazz the lining has polka dots so the sleeves are cuffed and the collar popped for extra drama. see how easy it is to pull together an ootd? every woman i know owns a pair of black pants and white shirt. the trick is bringing in different accessories to punch up the look, depending on where you’re headed for the day or night.

Would never have thought about the sparkly shoes, but they really pop with this outfit. BTW, glad to see your gray hair. I’ve been sporting the gray for a while now (I wear mine similar to you) and I get a lot of compliments on it. I’ll bet you do too.
