whenever i’m pressed for time or feeling wishy-washy about ‘what to wear’ i inevitably reach for classic wardrobe staples. on my short list of classic summer, essentials is a striped tee. white denim always makes the list. but a white denim pencil skirt is even better. a straw handbag is a no-brainer during the hot summer months. and a pair of sunnies doesn’t hurt.
as you can see today’s ootd is all about classic summer style. and it took all of three minutes to throw together. yet, i’ll head out the door feeling confident, knowing my outfit is simple and chic. see how important it is to have wardrobe staples on hand? first, i let black and white tee set the tone for the color scheme. after that everything fell into place. a white denim skirt was next (white denim shorts or jeans work too), black braided belt for contrast, white sandals, and a straw handbag. silver accessories were added, along with a white watch to keep my summertime vibe going. last but not least a pair of white sunnies and a fresh mani and pedi are all i need to bring this ootd home. see how easy it is to answer ‘what do i wear today?’
