three cheers for sunny weather (we’ve had our fair share of thunderstorms as of late) and summer days. it’s time to pull out classic summer stripes with a cotton poplin tunic from the king of classics Ralph Lauren. some of you may know that good old Ralph changed his name from Ralph Lifshitz to Ralph Lauren and created a lifestyle brand that had its start with ties sold exclusively to Bloomingdale’s. after a year or two Bloomies gave Ralph an in-store boutique (the first of its kind), and their partnership flourishes to this day.
but if you’re hankering for stripes, Ralph Lauren typically has something on hand. this tunic is a recent purchase from the Ralph Lauren Factory Store that’s about a thirty-minute drive from Athens. but i’ve linked similar items here, here, and here. but first, i want to sing the praises of these white pants from Theory that pull on. there’s no bulky zippers or buttons to contend with when you’re looking for a smooth and sleek fit. perfect for travel, the office, or dressed down as in today’s ootd. the striped tunic is cinched at the waist with a white belt (similar here) from Ralph Lauren. many of you write asking where to find belts. some of my favorites are Ralph Lauren that i’ve owned for years.
all right, gang, let’s get tuesday started!
