well, i’ve been thinking about a weekly series from time-to-time here on the blog. so i thought i would dive in with a staple in my closet. um hmmm, you guessed it. this week you are going to see a blazer blitz. and learn just how versatile this classic is, especially when the seasons change. yesterday, i wore a white linen blazer patterned after a classic chanel cardigan jacket. today i have on a white blazer last seen here and here. white blazers never go out of style, but this spring they are quite on-trend. today’s ootd is a look i wear quite frequently. blazer, denim, a tee, and flats is my uniform when running errands or visiting the dentist or making a pitstop at the grocery store. this is an outfit that keeps me looking polished and takes all of 5 minutes to put together. and, this time of year i love having an extra layer that keeps me warm when i head out the door early in the morning, but if the temps heat up i can shed the jacket by late afternoon. a striped tee last seen here (i have an array of colors) is also a classic i keep on hand as they are perfect when paired with denim. now, for the finishing touch. a scarf is also perfect when the seasons transition as it gives an extra layer of warmth plus a pop of color. today’s version i even brought in a bit of print mixing with the polka dots in direct contrast with the stripes. and, last but not least is a pair of ballet flats that are certain to help when i’m dashing in-and-out of more than one store.

I love the idea of a blazer blitz. I adore blazers. And love this outfit. Especially that scarf! And those hydrangeas are gorgeous.
hi sweet friend! don’t you just love hydrangeas?! one of my favorites. striped tee and a blazer is my go-to outfit.

Looking forward to the blazer blitz! You look very chic for whatever the day brings. The flowers are gorgeous and a beautiful backdrop for a beautiful gal… xoxo

I am not much of a blazer person, I usually opt for a denim jacket. I am quite busty and to get a blazer to fit takes a lot of alterations. I love your look though and those shoes are great. I am sorry they are old. lol
i have so many requests for these shoes. but if you shop at zara keep searching as sometimes brands bring out similar styles. and cardigans might work for you instead of a blazer. as a matter of fact, many are shaped to replicate a blazer. just a thought.

I work in an office full of men who drink coffee all day long and then crank the a/c down to sub zero, so I wear a LOT of blazers! I love your look today. That polka dot scarf is ON POINT with the stripes! And I am loving that snowball bush…. where are you? Is this a park?
