although i do wear my white denim year round, the color white itself shifts into softer shades come fall. i might pull out my white flats a few more times in the next month or so, but i probably will file away my nautical inspired sweater until next spring. and the same may hold true for my white handbag. i don’t hold on to any hard and fast rules these days, but when autumn rolls around a new color palette is ushered in as well. ivory, khaki, olive, burgundy – all the beautiful colors inspired by nature. even though the calendar clearly states that fall is three weeks away, i can’t help but get excited to see my suede boots, tweed jackets, and cashmere sweaters again. there’s just something about fall fashion that can’t be beat. so it’s adios august, hola september!
