Happy Sunday, ladies! Last week was resort week over on the blog. I shared a look at my recent trip to the Ritz Carlton, including some of my favorite dresses, swimsuits, and resort wear. Because I'm inspired, I wanted to share a little resort ware retrospective from some of the trips and vacations I've taken over the year.
Whether you're heading out on a cruise, taking a weekend vacation, or just spending the day at the pool, I wanted to share a few ways to help you level up your style game. So, here are 5 outfits you can use as you build your own resort wear collection.
Today, I'm featuring a resort wear retrospective taken from some of my favorite trips over the past few years
I've put together 5 inspiration outfits, built mostly from some more affordable retailers like LOFT and J.Crew Factory
At the end of the post, I've also pulled in 5 resort ware accessories I'm loving for this Spring & Summer
Blue, blue, my world is blue, or at least my sweater and shoes are. I'm pairing a soft and simple crewneck sweater with white linen track-style pants. Add a pair of matching loafers and you're good to go. Talk about the perfect spring resort wear outfit?! This is definitely it.
For a Caribbean cruise, I wore cropped pants, a striped tee, and a surplus-inspired jacket with patch pockets. Believe me, a jacket comes in handy on a cruise ship. while the outside temps were balmy and breezy, inside the ship can be downright chilly.
Even though I’m a separates girl through and through, dresses are a must for a vacation. They’re an easy, breezy one-and-done look that’s perfect for warmer weather.
Just add an accessory or two a pair of sandals, and you’re ready to start your day. An outfit like this can easily transition from day to evening and is a timeless style that’s perfect for resort season and a hot summer day.
Buzzing around somewhere like Naples in a striped tee. Through on a pair of Bermuda shorts, and you're good to go. I couldn’t resist adding a pair of preppy Jack Rogers sandals into the mix, and a beach bag that doubles as a handbag.

I love to wear fun, feminine skirts whenever i can, especially on a hot summer evening. Add a blouse, and you have a perfect outfit for an evening out on your resort vacation. If you aren’t a fan of heels, you might consider wedges as they are soooo comfortable to wear and look great with pants, skirts, and dresses.

Beth. Luv your style. I’m a preppy too. Just my opinion, but I luv your hair in the shorter style u used to have. I thought it was stunning. Who am I to say but just a thought. Keep being the classy gal no matter.
Cheers, judy
Hi Beth
Love all your resort looks especially #1. I think I have seen those shoes in other colors but the blue is stunning. Would you have a link for them somehow I missed the original post for that look.
Hi TerryLee,
Unfortunately, the blue suede shoes are several years old and are no longer available for purchase.
